Jerry Knox

Jerry Knox

Jerry is a high school geography teacher in Southern California. He ran his first marathon in 2007 and never stopped.  He runs around 10 marathons a year and 3 or 4 half marathons with a few 10Ks, 5Ks, and 100 miles ultras here and there to mix it up. His picture is in the 2016 Guinness Book of World Records for running the fastest marathon dribbling two basketballs with a time of 4 hours 11 minutes.  He also set the world record for fastest marathon dribbling one basketball in 2015 with a time of 3 hours and 11 minutes. Jerry has retired from dribbling and setting PRs. He wants to focus on helping others accomplish their running goals and enjoy the scenery that so many runs have to offer. His wife runs half marathons and they have two children who are young adults.
