Julie is always on the go – as a mom to six (yes 6!) children she doesn’t have much time to slow down. In 2013 she signed up for her first race (the Disneyland 10K) and began a running journey she didn’t quite anticipate. In the past 2 1/2 years she has run (5) 5Ks, (4) 10Ks, (2) 15Ks, 6 half marathons, a 25K, and 2 full marathons along with several trail races of various lengths 2 Ragnar Relays and 2 Ragnar Trail Relays. She’s hoping to BQ in 2016 at either Phoenix or Utah Valley and then she’s got her eye on training for her first ultra marathon. Running has become not only a way to stay fit, but also a way of life for her and she enjoys sharing her love of running with others.
